An awesome American restaurant in downtown Red Wing that exceeded expectations. Staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was lively, clean, modern, and inviting. I highly recommend the cheese dice as an appetizer. We left feeling very full and happy.

Home Plate is a family favorite for its blend of casual yet classy atmosphere, unique spins on classic dishes and friendly service. The location is also perfect, right in the heart of downtown. We’ve enjoyed every visit.

The MVPs of Red Wing! If you haven’t been to the Home Plate Grill & The Dugout Lounge yet, what are you even doing with your life?! This place is a total home run (pun very much intended). First off, the staff is amazing. Shout-out to the staff, including Matthew, Antonio, and Paul, for being friendly and welcoming every time. These guys make you feel like a VIP every time you walk in—seriously, they could teach a class on hospitality. The burgers? Oh. My. Gosh. They’re so good they should come with a warning label. Juicy, flavorful, and borderline addictive. I dream about the burgers and treat myself whenever I can. And the live music? It’s the kind of talent that makes you do a double take like, “Wait, am I at a local spot or a secret concert venue for future stars?” Always a great vibe, always a great time. Bottom line: If you want killer food, amazing service, and a place that just gets it, this is your spot. This place deserves a trophy!

We have been here a few times now and have enjoyed our visit every time. The menu has recently expanded and dessert items have been added. This is the only place we've found around town that offers pool tables! We always get the burger (they're like butter burgers) with bacon jam, rosemary fries and a side salad with bleu cheese & shrimp. The chocolate cake is also on point - not too sweet while plenty rich. The staff has been great! Looking forward to see what opportunities the future holds for this place!

Great mix of decor and design make this place feel like a sports bar on one hand and also at the same time a trendy upscale place to go to after the Sheldon theater. It's menu follows the same feel. You can get a smash burger or a dressed up hotdog. On the flip side you can get oysters or grilled flank steak. All food you can tell is freshly prepared right there. The ballpark burger and the salmon burger with the rosemary fries are great choices, followed by their homemade carrot cake. Food is amazing! Will be going back to try many more appetizers and entrees. Highly recommend if you are in Red Wing, MN!

Wow what a hidden gem! So to be honest, they could use a better sign outside. It isn't the easiest to spot just by driving by. Luckily we found this place online and were using the GPS. The food was all delicious! The fries were crispy, the salad greens were crispy, everything came out hot that was supposed to. The bread from the Ruben is from a local bakery in town here. The pretzel was nice and hot with lots of pumpkin seeds that were a nice surprise. I saw on the screen that there is trivia and aucstic bands as well as comedy. They have regular pull tabs and etabs. The duck wontons were really really good. I wouldn't get the wings again. Literally the only disappointment. The establishment was very clean and set up perfect. Our server/bartender (Matthew B)was great. He was very personable and was great a conversing with everyone. Would absolutely come again!

I was in Red Wing for a girls weekend and we came here for dinner on Saturday night. I got the sausage and sweet potato flatbread and it was devine! I live a little over an hour away, and I WILL be back! My blueberry rosemary mule was also delicious.

Was in town for a conference and this was the closest open restaurant to my hotel. Had a modern atmosphere with pool table area and bar. I chose to sit outside as it was a nice evening. Server was friendly and prompt, and was always checking up on me. I tried the duck wontons, cheese dice and wings with the dry rub appetizers. All three of these were good and full of flavor. For my main course I have the bahn mi on bahn mi. This was an amazing burger with a good bahn mi flavor, really hit the spot. Prices were reasonable. Would recommend for a casual date or a night out with friends or family.
